Please join us for drinks and a canapé reception as award-winning Canadian author Jeffrey Moore reads from his latest novel The Extinction Club, discussing his writing process and themes from the novel.

The Extinction Club is a powerful – and at times unbearably moving – portrayal of wildlife plunder and of those who dare to oppose it. It is also a darkly comic tale, in which the very urban Nile and the country-smart, near-genius Celeste teach each other about life and death, love and loss.

The Extinction Club was shortlisted for the Hugh MacLennan Prize (Best Novel) and most recently the Arthur Ellis Award (Best Crime Novel).
